This is our first draft of the film poster, out of our three designs we decided to use this layout. The image and text is quite simple and works well with the style of social realism, as a group we chose to use photoshop to make our poster. We were able to change his skin tone and show the bruising of his face very well with specific tools on photoshop. As this is our first draft I think that there are areas which we could improve on such as the amount of text that has been shown, when we come to develop the poster i think that there should be a star rating therefore it will look more attractive to the audience.
I like the design. The image to me says, a boy who is getting beaten up. Is that what you want to communicate? Certainly feels Social realism as an image.
