I have chosen this picture because it is also similar to what we are basing our poster on.
It uses a clip from the film. You can tell this because of the setting and the way that her hair is blowing in the wind. Her facial expression is also unposed and shows a lot of emotion which isnt rehearsed or practised for a photo shoot.
The costume makes the character look middle to lower class, although her child is nicely dressed which could show that the character uses the money she has on her child. Her hair looks like she was in a rush and has quickly tied it up.
It is set in a n out of town area as there isnt any shops or houses. This could mean that she lives in a deserted area or she is going to meet someone there.
This poster also uses a tagline 'She brought a small town to its feet and a huge company to its knees.' This tells the audience that she may have overcome something to be where she is today.
Is she a lone parent? Title says "is" suggests could be true story,
ReplyDeleteDoes she look like a likely candidate as someone who could do that (bring a large company to its feet) - its an interesting contrast.
look at my post on my blog for March 4th - you still have a alot to do here for the poster research and planning.
ReplyDeleteDraft is in tomorrow as well.
