The second poster I have chosen to look at is Billy Elliot, the film is set in the fictional town of Everington in County Durham. Although the film genre is social realism the poster does not make it obvious. The image is medium sized at the top of the page, which leaves room for the title and the film information on the bottom half of the page. As a poster it looks quite smart the Title colour matching with the railings in the image, i think this works very well as it gives a sense of professionalism. The image has been edited to give an effect to show the time in which it was set in therefore it looks slightly old fashioned and out of date. The poster also shows an award that the film has won, placed on top of the title it is clear for the audience to see the icon. altogether i think this is a nice poster though it does not include a tag line which i think it could possibility benefit from.
